Prandtl Dynamics Inc. is a defense technology startup I co-founded to address the growing threat of rogue drones in urban airspace. We are pioneering the use of focused ultrasonic waves to safely disable small unmanned aerial systems (UAS), providing a non-kinetic, RF-silent alternative to traditional counter-drone measures.
Our technology emphasizes minimal collateral damage, making it well-suited for use in densely populated civilian environments such as stadiums, airports, and government facilities.
Highlights
Counter-UAS Sandbox Finalists
Placed 2nd in the 2024 Counter-UAS Sandbox Challenge, hosted by the Canadian Department of National Defence. Outperformed industry leaders including Boeing and Teledyne.
Funding Secured
Raised $375,000 in R&D grants from the DnD and $175,000 in pre-seed investment to support further development and deployment of the system. In 2024 we joined the LAUNCH incubator and are working with Jason Calacanis.
